I’m watching the 2nd space walk of Expedition 32 on the ISS and the 3rd longest spacewalk ever.
Sunita Williams and Akihiko Hoshide where out on the side of the ISS trying to wrestle a new power relay unit into place. They wern’t able to get the bolts to cooperate but they were using something that seams so common to us but in the end is very specialized and unique.
I think this is a little bit nicer then my Craftsman cordless drill, it’s NASA’s pistol grip tool. Hell yeah space tools!

The Mars Curiosity lander is set to land on August 5th. And at least NASA admits that the landing sequence looks crazy. Fingers crossed!
